For my upcoming visual arts club meeting for the group I’m currently in, we were given the prompt “shadow”. I decided I wanted to create a sort of mood board to study what sort of shadow play I’m actually interested in, so that I can contribute some meaningful content to our meeting next week. You know the drill– I went to Google Images and searched a few different phrases, refining the searches based on what I was drawn to. In the photos below, you’ll notice a lot of interesting architecture shadow play, as well as some portraits with a focus on creating shapes using lines. I also gravitated mainly towards a black and white edit, and I think that will be a good opportunity to practice black and white edits– or even shooting in black and white. I’m planning on shooting in a day or two, and will be sure to upload a photoshoot blog along with the pictures I actually take.
As always, feel free to let this mood board inspire you to create your own pieces of art! Until next time 🙂
